About Us
We are a family childcare home and have been in the business of leading, directing, teaching, caring and fundraising (for) children for over 20 years and have had a successful preschool program for the last 8 years. Our experience all around the Highline and Seattle Public School Districts allows us to provide an exceptional preschool program including specialized education with an emphasis on ADHD and SBD and stimulation for learning according to Washington State Essential Learning Guidelines.
We are nationally accredited, licensed by the State of Washington, and possess a Child Development Associate (CDA). We offer Infant/Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K and School Age/After School programs. Our children learn the value of teamwork by sharing and taking turns. We teach to express thoughts and ideas positively, as well as active listening skills. Students develop excellent cognitive skills and use critical thinking to expand their abilities. We strive to help build self-confidence, develop vocabulary, introduce new ideas, teach cultural awareness, train to problem solve and offer opportunities for increased interest in books, numbers and people.

To provide a safe, warm, environment for your child while you are working, and offering each child learning experiences geared toward their age and Washington State Essential Learning and Content Standard Guidelines. To promote social development, intellectual ability, language development and communication, self-help skills, sensory stimulation, large and small muscle development and creative expression by offering your child a variety of easily accessible, developmentally appropriate learning and play materials that are culturally relevant and diverse.
Our Family and Background
We are parents of two young men, who graduated from high school and went on to become professional athletes. We both have college degrees. We've worked with children more than 20 years, participated in many school functions, sports all year round, fundraising and more.
Philosophy and Program Description
We are a two-parent business as well as always being a two parent home. Our philosophy is that positive communication, blended with love, discipline and education leads to a mature mind, capable of making responsible choices. We provide children with positive role modeling from both the male and female parent perspectives, in an effort to offer balanced guidance. Today's children are tomorrow's leaders. Our program focuses on building maturity and security through education, love and communication.
We use a variety of activities for all age groups, including free play with age appropriate toys and electronics; reading time using age appropriate fiction and non-fiction from diverse cultures; nutrition and economics including helping to plan and prepare meals; working together completing homework and/or teaching age appropriate subject matter for Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math, Health, Art, Music, crafts and field trips.
Our activities, routines and curriculum will allow your child to gain self-esteem, self-awareness, self-control and decision making abilities. To develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically. He/she will learn about nutrition, health, personal safety, experimenting, exploring and playing.
